Abstract

The issues of economic development of Ukraine and the EU are considered. The problem of economic divergence is identified. The problems of overcoming divergence in the economies of Ukraine and the EU are described. Conclusions on overcoming divergence to achieve the goals of economic development are proposed: taking into account national interests, the limits of overcoming divergence, minimizing divergence to the required level.
