The article considers the project of universal science in the philosophical heritage of Gottfried Leibniz and analyzes the way of combining anthropological and natural knowledge in his philosophical system. Gottfried Leibniz's philosophical system was aimed at bridging the gap between anthropological and natural knowledge, for which purpose a project of universal science was created. According to Leibniz, universal science was to be the science of the causes of things, combining the science of God as Creator and the science of creation - both intellectual beings and bodily nature. Being convinced that with the help of such a science, all disputes and contradictions will disappear in the world, which leads to the spread of evil, Leibniz noted that if humanity had such a science, it would have the opportunity to reason clearly in the field of metaphysics and morality, just as it is done in the field of geometry and mathematical analysis.
