Abstract

The accident rate of overhead lines is most often characterized by a specific number of emergency shutdowns and damage. Damage is considered to be such emergency shutdowns that are not eliminated by automatic reclosing (APV) and are accompanied by emergency downtime. The article considers emergency shutdowns, damage, and factors that affect them.
