The article is devoted to the analysis of the mechanisms of preventive diplomacy in the Central Asia region at the present stage. Such UN mechanisms as the Sustainable Development Program, the activities of the UN Regional Center for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia, as well as the efforts and interaction of the states of the region in finding compromise solutions on security problems and the development of a culture of peace in the region are being investigated.
