Abstract

The article investigates the influence of negative communicative attitudes on the subjective feeling of loneliness in modern women. According to well-established social norms, the main roles of a woman are family roles, such as the role of the mother and the role of the wife. If it is impossible to realize them, according to society, women feel lonely. Our study involved mature women who can be conditionally divided into three groups: married, divorced or unmarried with children, and unmarried without children. The smallest number of negative attitudes was found among married women. For unmarried women with children, the dominant negative attitude is “Veiled cruelty towards people, in judgments about them”. Among unmarried women without children, “Rumbling as a tendency to draw unfounded conclusions” dominates. They focus more on negative events and summarize them to form their opinion.
