Abstract

The article presents methodological aspects of covering the evolution of K. Stockhausen's creative path for future music teachers against the background of the panorama of German musical life of the second half of the twentieth century. Emphasis is placed on the complexity of the composer's worldviews and their embodiment in musical works. The concept of creativity, features of musical language, structure and means of expression of leading works, areas of innovation and the author's contribution to the development of European composition in the second half of the twentieth century are characterized. The uniqueness of the situation in German music of the second half of the twentieth century, in which two tendencies coexisted: the course of maximum renewal (R. Wagner, A. Schoenberg, K. Stockhausen), and fidelity to traditions, the desire to discover them in a new way as a special spiritual value. (F. Mendelssohn, J. Brahms, P. Hindemith).
