Abstract

The purpose of the article is to examine the features of vocabulary in Randall Williams' work "Daddy tucked the blanket" and to reveal the concept of "speech portrait". Analyzing the work, we used a continuous sampling method to identify and describe the characteristic features of various linguistic units used in this work. This article might be interesting for specialists in the field of linguistics.
