FIFTH GENERATION NETWORKSAbstract
The next generation of wireless communications, 5G, is increasingly being discussed. Every day, companies present more and more potential use cases for the technology, but only a few of them look promising.
In this paper, we explored many potential 5G use cases, with a focus on the Internet of Things (IoT) business to business (B2B) market, in order to identify the most promising ones. As part of our analysis, we also examined the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the current state of the mobile electronics and services market, including identifying market development trends, suggesting use cases in which 5G technology could significantly improve
existing technologies.
