NUMERICAL INVESTIGATIONS OF THERMODEFORMATION OF ELECTROCONDUCTIVE BODIES UNDER THE ACTION OF THE ELECTROMAGNETIC FIELD
Keywords:
nonlinear deformation, electromagnetic field, temperature field, finite element method, vector magnetic potentialAbstract
The paper presents a variational formulation of the problem of analysis of electromagnetic field propagation, non-stationary (transient) temperature field and nonlinear deformation of systems of electrically conductive bodies. The analysis of the propagation of the electromagnetic field is reduced to finding the spatiotemporal distribution of vector magnetic and scalar electric potentials. The finite element method is used as a numerical solution method. A system of algebraic equations for determining the nodal values of the vector magnetic potential, temperature and displacements is obtained in general.
