The article describes a comprehensive approach to students ' psychodiagnostics based on two methods that determine the personality's psychotype, temperament, and career orientations. Personal selfrealization of teenagers allows them to find a professional field of future application of their individual interests, aptitudes, abilities, and talents. And personal development in a given professional direction – to clearly imagine the world of the chosen profession and prepare for the realities of its implementation in life. Thus, by preparing in advance for social and professional practice, students learn their individual capabilities for the best implementation of their plans and goals. The ambiguity of the Self-concept and the diversity of personal interests complicates the choice of professional self-determination in adolescence. The psychologist can only outline the concept of personal development depending on its psychological qualities and ability to lead. However, the choice is always left to the person who can be realized in any chosen direction, if he only has the desire and opportunity to work and prove himself. Choosing a profession is a path to self – realization and self-actualization of a particular person, and achievements along this path are a contribution to the development of all mankind.
