Abstract

The article analyzes the features of the functioning of radio-electronic industry enterprises. The main feature and fundamental difference between traditional manufacturing enterprises and high-tech enterprises is that in their activities, high-tech enterprises are focused on the creation, development and practical use of innovations. Various definitions of the authors regarding the concepts of "high technology"," high-tech enterprise"," knowledge intensity "and"high-tech products" are considered. The features of the functioning of hightech industrial enterprises of the radio-electronic industry are highlighted.
