The article substantiates the need for the process of forming communicative competence in a future teacher, lists the main criteria for building an effective system of professional development, skills and abilities that make up the structure of a teacher's communicative competence. The main directions and the necessary means for the full-fledged formation of communicative competence in a future bachelor teacher have been identified.
