Аннотация

The essence of the concept of "securities" is considered in the article. The current state of the securities market of Ukraine is analyzed. The analysis of the ratio of trading volumes in the securities market to the nominal GDP of Ukraine. It is noted that the securities market is one of the key components of the economy and the financial system, providing processes of mobilization, allocation and channeling of resources to economic development. Attention is drawn to the fact that the modern securities market is a complex system of economic relations associated with the issue and circulation of securities, the activities of market participants and their regulation, relationships that create the conditions for the functioning of public capital through the issue and circulation of securities, distribution investment income and risks. The problems hindering the development of the stock market of Ukraine are systematized and generalized. The directions of perspective development of the stock market of Ukraine are offered.
