THE IMPORTANCE OF SUB-COMPETENCIES IN THE FORMATION OF RESEARCH COMPETENCE OF STUDENT-LINGUISTS

The article deals with the role of research competence of linguists and its necessity in the formation of specialists in foreign language education. Tries to find the answers to the issues of the importance and role of sub-competence in the formation of research competencies in future linguists, the influence of subcompetence on the professionally-oriented actions of future specialists. Defines the importance of the relationship and continuity of sub-competences, such as -cognitive sub-competence, professional-communicative subcompetence, personality-oriented sub-competence.
The article also discusses research competencies as a guiding component of education for linguists in determining the area of interest in science. As in practice, research work develops not only research skills and abilities, but also develops as a professional linguist and linguist-teacher. Research work expands the horizons of critical thinking, logical thinking and creative thinking of the future linguist of a foreign language. Linguists of foreign languages as researchers of the target language should have the necessary sub-competencies.
