NATURAL MOVEMENT OF THE POPULATION OF THE KYIV COSSACK REGIMENT IN  THE LAST YEARS OF ITS EXISTENCE

Анотація

У статті досліджуються особливості природнього руху населення у межах Київського полку Гетьманщини у другій половині XVIII ст. Значна увага приділена джерельній базі дослідження та стану розробки проблеми в українській і зарубіжній історіографії.

За допомогою даних джерел обліково-статистичного характеру аналізуються дані про народжуваність, шлюбність і смертність населення в історичному контексті, розглядаються історикодемографічні процеси в регіоні. Порівняно церковний адміністративний поділ і систему полковосотенного устрою, виділено пласт потрібних для історико-демографічної проблематики документів, зокрема витяги метричних відомостей за 1773 і 1778 рік, що містять конкретні дані щодо чисельності народжених і померлих, кількості укладених шлюбів у селах і містах Київського полку. Отримана інформація використовується для аналізу причин змін у чисельності населення в регіоні.

Тематика статті має широкий потенціал для подальших досліджень як суто в історикодемографічному і регіональному напрямі, так і в цілому для вивчення української і загальноєвропейської історії XVIII ст.
