COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF LACUNARY UNITS OF GERMAN LANGUAGES

This article is devoted to the study of lacunar units, as one of the most striking characteristics of the national and cultural specifics of each language. The research was carried out on the material of the Germanic languages (English and German). The works of contemporary writers from England and Germany were used as research material. In the analysis, the linguistic lacunas of these languages were revealed and the features of their meaning and use were described.
